In January, we invited our community of advocates to send in their dress designs for a chance to be included in the 2018 Dressember dress collection in collaboration with Elegantees. We received an overwhelming amount of designs, and we want to thank everyone who took the time to send in their submission. They were creative and inspiring. The following four designs have made it to the voting round, and now the power is in your hands!

How to vote:

You can vote twice for your favorite design, once through our online voting ballot below, and once on Instagram. Voting will close on Friday, February 16th at midnight PST.

Cast an additional vote on Instagram by "liking" the photo of your favorite design. Each "like" will be added to the final score.

Here are the designs:

To me, a wrap dress with flounce sleeves represents that feeling of a dance party, and the green color is pulled from my favorite places in nature. As I have come to understand and appreciate my freedom, it has become increasingly important for me to recognize my privilege, and to advocate for people that do not have the privilege and freedom that I have. I want to use my voice for those who do not have one, and my designs to provide work and healing for those who are on a path to freedom.

This dress is designed to be comfortable, able to be dressed up or dressed down, and will appeal to women and girls all over the world, no matter their size, shape, or color. It would be such an honor to be picked, knowning that as a 13 year old, I can help girls and women all over the world.

My style tends to lean a little more vintage inspired, so I wanted to design a dress that nodded to vintage fashion without screaming vintage. I also wanted to design a dress that I thought would be flattering on any body type, while also being fairly modest. I would hope a dress like this would make anyone feel confident, beautiful and ready to take on the world!

I am really inspired by the women around me, especially my sisters and my mom. They each have unique styles, and I love the joy I see in their eyes when they’re wearing clothes they feel good in. I also really enjoy looking at designs from different eras and then seeing how designers incorporate some of those elements into clothing today, even if it’s in small details.
